Is there any critical reason as to why Nigerian rapper Baddo famous recognized as Olamide is signing his Yoruba tribe people into his record label YBNL?. Let find out.

Record shows that For the past five years, Olamide had been signing almost only musicians who comes from Yoruba region to his imprint and he’s quite noticed for that. Right from the time of renowned superstars like Adekunle Gold, Lil kesh and others. Olamide keep signing talents living within his locality.

Which Tribe Is Olamide

Olamide Adeniyi famously known as Olamide is a typical Yoruba man.

Already, if you take a proper check, you will realise that all the past and present artistes Olamide ever signed into YBNL records, are all from the Yoruba ethnic group.

Why Does Olamide Sign Yoruba rappers and singers alone and no other Tribe ?

MY OPINION: Why Olamide is tribalistic even in the music industry is due to culture and Distrust. Olamide might feels that assisting Yoruba musicians will bring him more respect and honor than signing musicians from other states or regions.

Olamide must bring to YBNL at minimum 1 Igbo or one Hausa artist; this will encourage diversity. He is a fantastic label manager who is loved by millions, but he prefers to sign solely Yoruba artists, which is disheartening because it doesn’t give non-Yorubas an equal chance.

What Do You Think Makes Olamide works only with the Yoruba acts?
