Davido has just bagged an endorsement deal with Wema bank, which comes with a brand new truck.
Do good and it will come back to you in multiple folds they say. This is exactly the case of Nigerian megastar, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, who has just successfully bagged an endorsement deal with WEMA Bank Nigeria.
We all recall that a couple of weeks ago, the father of 3 tasked his friends to donate the sum of 1 million each, into his Wema Bank account towards his 29th birthday. This soon became a reality as more than enough donations came through, with a total of 201 million naira.
The internet almost shut down when Davido announced that all the funds, including his personal donation of 50 million naira, making a total of 251 million would be going to all orphanages across Nigeria.
The news of the icon’s kind gesture went viral and all media houses home and abroad could not get enough.
The singer who recently took delivery of his brand new Rolls Royce rode in it to Wema bank HQ in Lagos where the big reveal was made. In photos that have now circulated the internet, Davido is seen flanked by a couple of Wema Bank executives looking all smiles.
