Why Son was sent off after Andre Gomes’ shocking leg injury for Everton
THE Premier League have acted to clarify why Spurs’ Son Heung-min was sent off after horrendous damage to Andrew Gomes – notwithstanding official Martin Atkinson at first getting only his yellow card out.
After Everton midfielder Gomes endured a presumed broken leg in the 1-1 draw , the Prem stated: “The red card for Son was for imperiling the wellbeing of a player which occurred as a result of his underlying test.”
