- Patoranking may have grew up in Lagos but Ebonyi is his state of origin. While Patoranking was still in secondary school, his mom was a petty trader so he did all he could to support her.
After school hours, Patoranking would help his mom sell rat poison by hawking in the streets. It wasn’t easy for him but he scaled through. He was a dedicated child and he did all he could to support his family. See some of his throwback pictures below.
Growing up, Patoranking loved raggae and Dance hall music. After he graduated from secondary school, Patoranking started his musical journey as a street Jam and carnival dancer. In 2012, Patoranking released his first music track tittled “Iya Bisi”, featuring Qdot and Kbaj. The song didn’t perform very well but it motivated Patoranking.
Despite the fact that his first single didn’t perform well, Patoranking kept his head up and he went back to the studio to record another track. On 12 September 2013, Patoranking released another single titled “Alubarika” featuring Timaya. The song received massive airplay and Patoranking instantly released the video.
Alubarika was the song that put Patoranking on the Nigerian music map. After recording huge success with Alubarika, Patoranking started gaining local recognition and he became quite popular. In 2014, Patoranking released yet another hit track tittled “Girlie O” featuring Tiwa Savage. The song was a smash hit and it helped Patoranking gain global recognition.
Ever since he released Girlie O, Patoranking’s music career elevated. He has since released three studio albums and he has also won several awards. Patoranking has a unique style of music which is what contributed to his success. Few weeks ago, Patoranking bought a Lamborghini Urus worth N84 Million naira.
Apart from the Lamborghini, Patoranking also owns a Porsche Boxter and a Mercedes G Wagon both worth over N100 Million. Hard work really pays and Patoranking is a living proof.
