I remarried last year after years of mourning my late husband, just 2 months into this marriage I got pregnant. Am 6months pregnant now. We don’t stay together because of work, we stay in the same city but different LGA but thus lockdown made him come to stay with us. I thought things will change but its even worse.
My husband has been so distant from me…I started having problems with him after our marriage, he wouldn’t let me visit him in his workplace, even when he comes back, he won’t touch, discuss or play with me he is always busy with his phone, WhatsApp chatting with his girlfriend…,Madam Cynthia, am a very quite and humble woman, I don’t nag, I don’t disrespect my husband.
Am working and I take care of my daughter and myself…I had a daughter from my previous marriage, my husband has never fuel my car for me b4 or gift me but I don’t mind, while we were courting, when I visit him and wants to go back to my base, he doesn’t give me money not even money to fuel my car still I’ll be calm.
Since this lockdown period,..Most times, he goes down stairs to call his girlfriend and the girl calls every morning around 6:30 am and night around 10pm when we are on bed but he will not pick. He will leave the room to go call her back. I asked him who this girl is and he just said she is his friend. Since I became pregnant, he refused being intimate with me, I tried to talk to him about it but after saying everything he will not say a word to me.
Since 6months he attempted twice and it was as good as nothing. This someone that was all over me for intimacy before marriage. Now no cuddling, no touching…nothing at all. I have asked him if I did anything wrong and he said no .
Once in a while he goes to the village to meet the lady and if I tell him I want to go with him, he will refuse outrightly.
Madam Cynthia am in a deep pain right now, I don’t know what to do..why am I not enjoying marriage just like other women?😭..I need advices on how to handle this issue, Am 39 and my husband is 42
