The Naija’s Music Ninja dies of Cancer of the throat on 11 day of July, 2021. The remains of the popular Nigerian music artiste, Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi, who is professionally known as Sound Sultan, has been buried in Brooklyn, New York in the United States.
According to the culture and tradition of Africa and Nigeria in Particular, where every dead persons are usually buried in the grave dig in his/her family compound.” Sound Sultan was also expected be buried in his residence, Nigeria.
Now, The question is, why was he buried in another man’s land?
Considering the calibre of his personality in the Nigeria music industry and of course, a bonafide citizen?
Aren’t they supposed to transport his corpse home?

Sound Sultan is a Muslim, and Muslim are buried immediately upon death, transporting the body to Nigeria before they get clearance to do so will take time at most week(s). It’s only reasonable he be buried in NJ
But the Decision for Sound Sultan to be buried in New York, U.S and not in Nigeria was made by his Family. The statement cited from the Obituary released before he was laid to rest
