Popular Nigerian music producer, Samklef has called out Instagram influencer, Tunde Ednut for blocking him and music executive – Ubi Franklin after they started their own Instagram channels.
A couple of months ago, Samklef who is a prominent beat maker and music producer, revealed that he gave up on music production because it wasn’t giving him enough money.
According to him, being a producer makes one appear like a “big man” on social media but in reality “you’re dead broke”, adding that he only moves around with and sleep in homes owned by A-list musicians without really earning handsomely.
As a beat maker, Samklef was behind several hits made by Wizkid before things went sour between them. His most prominent work was “Molowo Noni” which had Wizkid, D’Prince (Omoba) and Ice Prince on it.
Turning his Instagram account to a page for disseminating of viral contents as an IG based blogger, Tunde Ednut feels threatened and has allegedly blocked him.
Ubi Franklin on his part is a political aide to a governor and also owns Made Made Music Group which houses popular Nigerian singer, Tekno Miles.
But Ubi, being a media personality, recently launched “Talks With Ubi Franklin” on his Instagram page – a platform that interviews celebrities.
In addition to that, Ubi now shares viral contents just like Tunde Ednut.
Samklef has now called out Tunde Ednut for blocking him and Ubi on Instagram.
He advised Tunde that the sky is too wide for every bird to fly, citing that Jay Z, Puff Daddy and Rick Ross run similar businesses but are still friends till date.
He also expressed surprise stating that Tunde still has that “Naija competitive mentality”.

Jay-Z has Ace of spade, Puff Daddy has Ciroc and Rick-Ross has Belaire Rose and all of them are making money and still friends in business. I’m shocked that someone i thought was my guy’ who came to see me in my hotel’ even brought a drink and we drank together, we celebrated his new car and took photos together blocked me on Instagram 3days after, without any issues. Reasons why because he feels that I’m a threat! I have never had any issue with him since we have been friends since 2007. Nawa oh! I just can’t believe he still carry that Niaja competitive mentality enter yankee after all these years. We grow by lifting others, my guy block me’ even block ubi Franklin 2…no wahala! God dey. Aye kpo gan!”
