Emmanuel Chukwuemeka popularly known as Oga Sabinus was announced the winner of the best Content Creator and skit maker at the AMVCA 2022 which took place on Saturday night, May 14 in Lagos.
The event was hosted by IK Osakioduwa and South African media personality, Bonang Matheba.
Comic Actor, Mr Funny also known as Sabinus beat his colleagues Mr Macaroni, Brainjotter, SirBalo and Lord Lamba to clinch the Best Best Online Social Content Creator Award from the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards event 2022.
When Oga Sabinus was declared the winner of the category, he rushed to the stage in smiles.
In his words, his fans played a great role in the spread of his content.
“I want say a very big thank you to everybody.
“Big thanks to my fans. This is my first award in Lagos,” he said.
While many Congratulated the comedian for his hardwork and well deserved success, a controversial Twitter Personality known as Daniel Regha took to his social media to insinuate that Oga Sabinus is not the right person for the Award.
According to him, Sabinus did not merit winning Best Content Creator at the just concluded AMVCA8 and the award was suppose to go to Debo Macaroni.
Sabinus winning the AMVCA award for “Best Online Social Content Creator” is a big joke, no-one deserves that recognition more than Macaroni; Y’all can hype Sabinus all u want but Macaroni is doin more with his skits than other comedians right now.
