Nigerian striker on target in big win Greece

Nigerian striker Michael Olaitan fine back of the net in as Apollon Pontu trashed Irodotus in the Greek second division on Wednesday night.

The 26-year-old former Mighty Jets opened flood gate in the 22nd minute before Leonidas Kyvelidis made in two-nil just before the break but the visiting was reduced to 10 men Christos Kasapakis receiving his marching orders in the early of the second stanza.

Olaitan has feature 12 times Apollon Pontu and scored three goals only second to Leonidas Kyvelidis who has four goals in 19 appearances this season.

The win sees Apollon Pontu moves to the fifth position on the log 11 points adrift league Volos NFC. Apollon Pontu tackles fourth-placed Kerkyra at E.A.K. Kerkyras on Sunday.
