Nigerian Man Handed 30yrs Jail Term For Drug Trafficking In Tanzania

A 30-year-old Nigerian man, Christian Ugbechi, was on Friday, sentenced to 30 years imprisonment for trafficking 56 pellets of Heroin, weighing 947.57 grams, into Tanzania.

Judge Sirilius Matupa of Tanzania’s High Court for Economic Corruption and Organized Crime Division, said he was satisfied by the evidence produced by 11 prosecution witnesses.
