“Nigeria Would Be Great If People That Voted Me Out Can Also Vote During Elections” – Tega

Tega, an evicted Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season six housemate who was romantically involved with Boma, says she was shocked when she found out the multitude of Nigerians who were angered by her actions.

“I was extremely shocked,” the married mother-of-one told GoldmyneTV. “I was like, ‘if this number of people can come out to vote during elections we would do extremely great.’”

“I was extremely shocked,” the reality TV star emphasised. “But hey, it is what it is.”

She and Boma (alongside Michael and Peace) were evicted last Sunday after a video of the pair passionately kissing inside the BBNaija House went viral.

Boma, speaking in a live interview with the PUNCH, said the majority of those who criticised him and Tega were sleeping with people’s spouses.

“Those actresses, are they not married with kids in their family? Don’t they kiss people on set? So, I feel people just want to be hypocrites,” Boma said. “Don’t call me out on a show. It was just a show.”

Echoing his sentiments, Tega said that “looking at it from the outside it’s really easy to judge”.

“The pressure and tension in the House is nothing compared to the outside world. Trust me,” she told GoldmyneTV. ” So, I don’t blame anyone. I own it and I’m moving on.”

She was asked, while in the House if she thought she would do as much damage control as she has had to.

“We are working with what we think at the moment, what we know is happening at the moment,” she explained. “Thinking of damage control, it didn’t really come. As I said, I’m very spontaneous. I just go with the flow. It’s a ‘point and kill’ kind of game.”
