NDDC Headquarters In Port Harcourt Shut Down Over COVID-19 scare

The corporate headquarters of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Port Harcourt has been shut down following a COVID-19 scare.

The coronavirus scare was triggered by the death of a member of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of NDDC,

Mr. Ibanga Etang who died in the early hours of today May 28 at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH), Port Harcourt after a brief illness suspected to be COVID19.

An internal memo signed and released for the management by one Silas Anyanwu, directed all employees to vacate the headquarters as it would be shut down for two weeks with immediate effect.
