Spanish international, Alvaro Morata has reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus on loan from Atletico Madrid.
The deal costs the Old Lady €10m with an option to buy for €45m at the end of the 2020/2021 season – payable in three installments. But the loan can be extended for another €10m with an option to buy at a cost of €35m from 2022.
A statement from the club read: ‘Nothing is more beautiful than going home. Because this is Álvaro Morata’s arrival in Turin: a homecoming.
‘The signing of the Spanish striker in Juventus is therefore official: he comes from Atletico Madrid, where he played in recent seasons. He will play with us on loan for 2020/2021, with an option for an extension of one year.
‘The right by Juventus to definitively acquire the player’s sports services by the end of the 2020/2021 season for a consideration of € 45 million, payable in 3 financial years.

Morata played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid and enjoyed great success before moving to Juventus from 2014-16, during that period, the Turin giants paid €20m to purchase him from Real Madrid, with the Merengues paying the €30m buy-back clause.
