A Nigerian man who quit his stay in the country with wife and kids has celebrated on social media 2 years anniversary since he moved abroad
Tobi Odunowo stated that he quit his job at a company he had worked for 5 years to move to Canada on a permanent basis Sharing his story, Tobi stated that the journey wasn’t an easy one but was worth it as he described Canada as home
In Canada, he was jobless for months
Tobi said that on arrival in Canada, he got a contract job but lost it after 3 months due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
He was out of a job for 5 months after several unsuccessful work applications. Tobi eventually landed a new role with Canadian Railway Corporation, a job he has now been doing for a year.
He reiterated that leaving Nigeria for Canada was worth it and described the foreign country as home.
