Lady’s Family Demands ₦500K from Buhari’s Son ‘Yusuf’ Before He Can Marry Their Daughter

The entire community of Bichi on Friday was on chaos following the viral news which indicated that the son of the President Muhammadu Buhari, Yusuf had finally decided to settle down with one Woman and it was no other person than the daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Zahra Nasiru Ado-Bayero.



The solemnisation of the marriage contract between the lovers took place at the palace of the monarch.

Father of the bridegroom, President Muhammadu Buhari, was among thousands of dignitaries who attended the wedding.



Alhaji Aminu Dantata stood as representative of the bride, while Alhaji Mamman Daura, stood for the bridegroom during the wedding.

Shortly after the religious rites, Dr Ali Pantami, then prayed to the Almighty Allah to bless the marriage and grant the couple, pious children.

Dignitaries that attended the wedding included Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Mohammed Lawan, Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Prof Ibrahim Gambari and several state governors.

Others were ministers, members of the National and State Assembly, Emirs, diplomats, politicians and well-wishers, among others.


The son of President Muhammadu Buhari, Yusuf, got married to Zahra, the daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado Bayero in Bichi, Kano state on Friday, August 20.

Meanwhile, it was reported that the wedding ceremony of President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf, was a rare avenue for reunion among some Nigerian politicians who were somewhat torn apart by the battle for power

Two of such persons who have not been best of friends at least in the public eyes are the president and one of his biggest critics, Atiku Abubakar.

However, family of the Lady demanded a total of five hundred thousand N500,000 as dowry from Yusuf.



And according to media outlets, it is confirmed that the president’s son paid the sum of N500K as new Bride price for Zahra’s hand in marriage.
