According to him, the new cases were recorded on Sunday and Monday.

Masari said the state had so far recorded 75 positive cases of the pandemic out of which six patients were discharged from the various isolation centres.

However, he said five people died before being tested for the virus.

He pleaded with the Federal Government to set up testing centres in the state to complement the efforts of his administration in curbing the spread of the virus.

The governor appealed to residents to respect the stay-at-home order, maintain social distancing and wear face masks to enable the state to check the spread of the virus.
