Ayra Starr, a fast-rising Nigerian artist, has spoken up about the inspiration behind her most recent hit song, Rush, which is still at the top of the charts.

The songwriter disclosed that she wasn’t confident about herself when she wrote the song, Rush.

The 19-year-old singer, in an interview, shared that as much as she grew up being a confident person, she caved in while writing “Rush”.

She was unsure of herself and wanted to unapologetically find who she was, and that was how the song came about.
