Higuain & Jorginho seal three point for Chelsea

Gonzalo Higuain and Jorginho sealed the victory for Chelsea in a highly contested game between the two London based teams, the Blues defeated the Fulham 2-1 at the Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Chelsea found it difficult to curtail the Fulham in the opening 12 minutes, Kepa Arrizabalaga mishandled the ball in the area but he was fortunate to get away with it. Chelse pushed further in the opponent area, Gonzalo Higuain connected with a pass from Cesar AZilipcueta in the 20th minute to break the deadlock.

Kepa made a wonderful save to keep the scoreline in favour of the away team as he parried the ball over the ball, but Chelsea failed to deal with the corner kick after Calum Chambers was left unmarked in the area who made no mistake to put it into the net.

Chelsea responded with just seven minutes later after Jorginho intercepted an attacking move from Fulham to connect Eden Hazard, the Italian forward made it two for Chelsea after he hit a well-timed pass from Hazard.

Higuain forced Fulham goalkeeper to another save in the dying minute of the first half, the first half ended with a 2-1 result in favour of Chelsea.

Willian had two attempts but the shoots were saved by Fulham goalkeeper. Fulham launched an attack that was stopped by Jorginho and the Italian earned himself a yellow card
