A group within the Niger state APC, APC- Vanguard, has alleged that former Governor of Niger State, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu has been going around Minna imploring residents to support and vote Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement by the group, it claimed that Talban Minna is looking to gain back the people’s trust and favor, or is he trying to grease his way into the APC. .

This is shocking considering that Dr. Aliyu as at the time of this report is a card carrying member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

One wonders what is the agenda of the former Governor for the undertaking of this anti-party activity. Perhaps Talban Minna is looking to gain back the people’s trust and favor, or is he trying to grease his way into the APC? If this is the truth what becomes of the PDP in Niger state especially in the coming gubernatorial elections? “
