Foreign Minister, Onyeama reacts to demolition of Nigerian Commission in Ghana, labels it “Criminal Attacks”

Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, has reacted to demolition of a new building under construction in the Nigerian High Commission in Accra, Ghana. The minister who took to his social media page to condemn the demolition, labeled it as “outrageous criminal attacks”.

He also revealed that urgent action has been demanded from the Ghanaian government. “We strongly condemn two outrageous criminal attacks in Accra, #Ghana, on a residential building in our diplomatic premises by unknown persons in which a bulldozer was used to demolish the building.”

“We are engaging the Ghanaian Government and demand urgent action to find the perpetrators and provide adequate protection for Nigerians and their property in Ghana.”
