Davido has finally broken silence on the death of his photographer, Fortune Umurname Peter.
Fortune’s death was reported just months after Davido’s personal assistant Obama DMW was pronounced dead after suffering from heart failure.
Davido has now for the first time react to the death of Fortune via a post on his official Instagram account and also paid tribute to the dismissed confidant.
The leader of DMW Records Davido shared pictures of some memorable moments he had with Fortune and captioned with words that showed he’s heartbroken.

Caused of Fortune’s Death: the Photographer and Cinematographer, Fortune died while working on a photoshoot session on an Island.
“He fell into the water while scouting for a good shot apparently. It’s absurd and everyone knows fortune doesn’t know how to swim, so it makes no sense that he would risk it around deep waters like that.
According to reports, The late Bariga-born photographer “Fortune” has been working with Davido since 2019.
However, after a couple days, Davido came breaking silence over the death of his personal camera-man.
Following a recent to a post made by the singer and sighted by galantnaija on his official IG account, Davido expressed sadness over the death of Fortune who he described as one of his closest paddy.
He wrote:
I can’t believe you’re gone since we met you never left my side. You really were all about me like nothing else mattered. “I can’t believe you didn’t give me the chance to fulfil the rest of my promises to you.
My heart is so heavy right now but I’m just grateful I met you. “You went from a complete stranger to one of my most closest confidants. “You truly were the best kid. I’m so grateful we got to travel the world and create so many iconic moments with you.
“You are irreplaceable and you are gone now but I’ll make sure you’re not forgotten.”
