Egypt Overtakes South Africa As Nigeria Remains Among Top List
Africa has recorded over 7,000 deaths due to complications arising from COVID-19. Africa has also recorded over 265,000 COVID-19 cases and 122,000 recoveries in 54 countries. As of Thursday morning, Nigeria has recorded 469 reported deaths, fifth-highest on the continent. Egypt is now ahead of South Africa, with 1, 766 deaths, the highest on the continent.
