Ckay’s passion in creating songs and making music began to emerge while he was in his early teens. He traveled to Lagos with the goal of becoming a well-known musician. Following his relocation, he was signed by Paul Okeugo record company. Finally, in 2015, he began actively composing music.
Nkechi Turn Up, his first release, was released in November 2016. The following year, he released his debut EP, #WTFiCKay. The EP was made up of six songs that featured a variety of musicians. He released a couple additional singles during the next two years. Finally, he released his debut album Ckay The First, which featured the hit tune Love Nwantiti. The song was primarily popular in African countries. It did, however, begin to reach a wider audience outside of Africa. Furthermore, it grew in popularity as the song became a Tiktok craze. Many people began to produce a large number of tracks and music videos to the upliftment of his career.
Ckay Became Popular after his song “Love Nwantiti” went viral on Shazam and TikTok. The track was released in 2019 but finally got people’s attention in the year 2021 and the blow time found Ckay.
