1. Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jr

This renowned influencer and movie actor Ramson went to Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School in Lagos, somewhere around Surulere, his former residence.

He once admitted in an interview that he did not have a college diploma.

Ramsey, whose entire career has been a huge success, did have a diploma from the University of Lagos, but decided to drop out and focus solely on his acting profession.

He’s managed to carve out a name for himself as one of the few successful movie actors who hasn’t been involved in any scandals.

2. Okojie Mercy Johnson

The beautiful Mercy Okojie Johnson, who is now one of Nollywood’s top ten actresses couldn’t even passed the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) which is the first thing before gaining admission into higher institution.

Mercy admitted that she ventured into acting skill after failing the university entrance examinations (JAMB) for six good times, but she has since proven herself deserving of her profession as one of the most exceptional talents in the Nollywood scene.

3. Keshinro Ololade (Lil Kesh)

Keshinro Ololade is a Nigerian musician, rapper, and composer who catapulted to prominence after his hit tune “Shoki” was released.

The Bariga native studied linguistics at the University of Ibadan before dropping out to pursue music full-time.

He started rapping among his Bariga coworkers in 2012, and that was the start of his musical career. Shortly after, he published his debut track, “lyrically,” which quickly became a hit at practically every university.

In 2016, the brilliant rapper quit YBNL to form his own record label, “YAGI.”

4. Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo [DBanj]

In the year 2010, Olamide took over the music industry by force after launching his first ever music which he titled, “Eni Duro.” Not quite long after leaving his departmental colleagues in school. He also performed at The Hip Hop World Awards in the same year.

Olamide went to Tai Solarin University to obtain a degree in Mass Communication but unfortunately withdrew owing his reasons to financial difficulties.

Olamide hasn’t stopped releasing hit after hit in the last decade. Presently, he’s among the numbers of highest paid musicians in Nigeria.

6. Genevieve Nnaji MFR

Genevieve!! This one actually dropped out of school to focus on her career.

Following her basic education, the actress went to Methodist Girls College in Yaba, Lagos.

She was eventually accepted into the University of Lagos, but dismissed her tertiary education after landing her first acting role in the film called “Most Wanted.” And she has since amassed an outstanding profile in Africa’s entertainment business.

7. Michael Collins Ajereh [Don Jazzy]

Michael Collins Ajere, the CEO of Mavin Records, dropped out of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, where he was studying Business Management in his first year.

After returning from the UK with the Kokomaster, the prolific record producer, audio engineer, and philanthropist has created a name for himself as one of the most successful in the entertainment world. Today he’s known as one biggest label boss in Africa.

8. Innocent Ujah Idibia [2baba]

2baba, formerly 2face Idibia, musician with no intend of going back to college appeared on register of Nigerian celebrities dropped out of school.

After completing his secondary education at Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State, Innocent Ujah Idibia, the “African Queen” classical hit singer, enrolled at the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu (IMT).

He completed a basic National Diploma course in Business Administration and Management before dropping out to pursue a career in music.

“I got robbed while in school,” he once stated in an interview on Channels TV. They confiscated all of my audio cassettes that I had recorded. I was depressed for at least a year. I dropped out and said, “Look, I’m not going to continue with this; I’m going to pursue music.” My parents were the ones to whom I confessed. “I told them the truth: I’m not returning to school.”
