Education system in Nigeria is far from been average, personally I would rate this education system as been very poor.
Students with the best grades in Nigerian Universities studying practical courses like computer science, engineering and course like surveying might not have a single idea on how practical works are being carried out.
I was shocked to witness the best graduating student from a computer science department who doesn’t even know how to install softwares on a computer (Lol).

The Nigerian education system teaches you how to cram (reading and quoting everything to write and pass exams), you want to excel in any Nigerian University?. Just learn how to cram.
Too many innovative, intelligent, smart, and great minds out there struggling to come out with good grades in the university.

Below are some successful Nigerians that could not make it at school:-
ORJI UZOR KALU
The Ex-governor of Abia state and business man, dropped out from the university after he got rusticated from the University Of Maiduguri. Obviously the billionaire could not succeed in the university, but today he’s the chairman of SLOK holding.
DON JAZZY
Michael Collins Ajere, The C.E.O of Marvin Record dropped out of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma. Don Jazzy was not one of the best student in his class, but today I guess he should be richer then their best graduates student.
WIZKID
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid who is a successful singer and songwriter could not make it in the university. He got admitted into Lagos State University in 2008 to study sociology. He had to leave school to focus on his music career, of course i predicts his grade were not so good otherwise he would not want to drop out. The list continues but just to mention a few i will stop here.
